"Silence and creative simplicity are two elements that are far from easy to handle and channel into this jewel of research.
Listening to Arvo Pärt's music, with its silent introspection, simplicity, and spiritual depth, combined with the works of John Cage—who captivated me with the philosophical aspect of his research, always on silence—was the common thread that guided the development of these four links.
The meditative elaboration found in John Cage's works—especially the work 4'33"—as well as the spiritual aspect present in Arvo Pärt's works, for me, feels like crossing a threshold: it's the crossing of boundaries into other fields such as philosophy and spiritual thought."
