"The intersection of material and digital culture is never purely the result of human achievement but unfolds through the interaction of multiple human and non-human forces. Central to my research is the proposition that artificial intelligence, metaverse environments, and digital infrastructures not only frame how humans think, but also reshape how landscapes are perceived, accessed, and materially transformed.
This project examines how technological systems live through extractivism and remain inseparable from mineral and geological substrates. While aiming to reveal the minerals on which current digital worlds rely so strongly, across this body of work, I search for languages and inscriptional gestures that exist between matter and computational systems. Neither fully physical nor fully digital, the focus is on inscription, layered processes, and matter–code entanglements.
By exploring indeterminacy and inscription beyond language, jewellery becomes a post-symbolic inscription system, one that reimagines, technologies, materials and landscapes as part of a unified landscape-human process."
